Supporting People with Mental Illness
The Dr. Gert M. Frank Foundation is dedicated exclusively to charitable and philanthropic causes. We advocate for people who, due to their physical, mental, or emotional condition, are in need of assistance, and we also promote science and research in the field of mental illness, particularly psychosis and schizophrenia.
Specifically, our foundation supports:
- People with mental illnesses, particularly those with schizophrenia-spectrum disorders
- Family members of people with mental illnesses who need support
- Affected individuals whose treatment is necessary but financially unfeasible
- People who are personally in need of help following suicides in their social circle
We fulfill our foundation’s mission in particular through:
- Education and dialogue about mental illnesses, breaking down stigmas, and providing information about clinical pictures
- Financial support for necessary treatments when public or private agencies do not cover the costs
- Unbureaucratic and rapid assistance to enable timely access to appropriate therapies
- Promotion of research and development of new medications and therapies, with a focus on psychoses and schizophrenia
The Dr. Gert M. Frank Foundation aims to make an active contribution to improving the situation of people with mental illness and their families.
